Founded in 1930, ITE - A Community of Transportation Professionals is a global association of 18,000+ professionals and students committed to improving mobility and safety for all transportation system users and help build smart and livable communities. Our members include transportation engineers, transportation planners, consultants, educators, technologists, and researchers working to enhance transportation systems worldwide.

District 9 of ITE, TexITE consists of seven sections - six serving urban centers and one at-large section for rural areas. The Capital Area Section of ITE (CASITE) represents transportation professionals in Bastrop, Burnet, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson counties. We focus on professional development, public awareness, and fostering the exchange of technical knowledge.
